Cada una de mis amigas, tiene caracteristicas diferentes y especiales.

Cuando se trata de comer rico, yo se a quién llamar o de quién dejarme aconsejar, y esa persona es mi amiga Brenda.

Ella me había comentado de un restaurante que tenía sushi que le había recomendado, así que ese miércoles que nos vimos, decidimos ir a probar este nuevo lugar.

Al llegar, estaba llenísimo, había gente esperando afuera del restaurante esperando ser ubicados. Y como moríamos de hambre, decidimos ir a otro lugar. Sin embargo esa misma semana en domingo, fuimos a probar suerte y para nuestra felicidad estaba abierto Naru.

• Parqueo: Están ubicados en gourmet center de la zona 10, entonces te puedes parquear en el centro comercial.
• Servicio al cliente: Excelente

• Menú: Sushi y sopas

Naru, es un restaurante de comida japonesa que recién abrió sus puertas en Febrero del 2018. Es un restaurante modesto con capacidad para unas 40 personas y lo mejor de todo es que tienen una cocina abierta, así que yo no me pude resistir a sentarme en la barra, para poder ver de cerca como preparaban mi sushi.

Cuando revise el menú, no sabía ni que pedir, estaba muy confundida por que todo se veía delicioso. Decidimos pedir uno cada uno para compartir.

Al empezar  nos llevaron una sopa Miso con Tofu, deliciosa. Me encantan los lugares que le ponen empeño a los platos de cortesía y no te sirven una sopa desabrida.

El rollo que yo pedí se llama, Life in the Tropics. Traía camarón empanizado, aguacate, queso crema Philadelphia, cubierto con platanito y una mayonesa de chipotle.

Este rollo tenía un sabor agridulce espectacular. Era dulce, fresco, crunchy y cremoso a la vez. Y vale la pena mencionar que la cantidad de camarón era exagerada, y uno de los rollos de la punta, hasta tenía la cola del camarón, eso les da una idea, del tamaño del camarón que usaron.

El otro rollo se llama I LOB YOU, era por supuesto un rollo de langosta. Que traía Kanikama tempura, queso Philadelphia, pepino, aguacate y langosta a la soya gratinada por encima.

Yo no había comido langosta en mi vida antes de esta experiencia, principalmente, por que hasta hace algunos años me negaba a comer mariscos, y mi amiga Brenda me dijo que debía probarla que me iba a encantar, así que ese fue el rollo.

Que les puedo decir, ahora entiendo porque la gente ama la langosta. El sabor no se compara con ningún otro, la carne tiene un sabor con un pequeño toque dulce riquísimo.

Como sabrán los rollos de sushi por lo general traen 10 bocados, pero estos rollos traen tanta carne, que no nos pudimos terminar la comida, dejamos 6 bocados.

Sin pensarlo dos veces, les puedo asegurar que Naru es mi nuevo restaurante favorito, no puedo esperar a regresar y seguir probando lo que tienen para sorprendernos.

When it comes to eating, I know that the best companion and the one that knows to give a good recommendation it's my friend Brenda.  

She had talked to me about a restaurant that has sushi, that someone else had recommend her, so on that Wednesday we decided to try the new place. 

When we arrived the place was full, and there were people waiting outside the restaurant for a table. We were starving so we left, but the Sunday of that week we decided to try again and it was open and they had tables.

Naru it's a Japanese cuisine restaurant, that opened on February 2018. This is a modest place, with room for 40 people and the best of all is that they have an open kitchen, and if you are like me, you wont resist yourself to sit on the bar to watch how they cook your sushi. 

When I checked the menu, I didn't know what to order because everything looked so delicious and I was really confused. My friend Brenda and I decided to order two different rolls and share. 

To start they gave us a Miso soup with tofu, that was delicious. I love the places that make an effort with the complementary food, in this case the soup. 

The roll that I chose was, Life in the Tropics, it had breaded shrimp, avocado, Philadelphia cream cheese, avocado, topped with plantain and chipotle mayo. 

This roll had a bittersweet flavor. It was sweet, fresh, crunchy and creamy at the same time. And it's important to mention the amount of shrimp that the roll had, to give you an idea, one of the pieces had the tail of the shrimp, that puts into perspective about how much shrimp it had.

The other roll name was I LOB YOU and of course was a lobster roll. It came with braded Kanikama, Philadelphia cream cheese, cucumber, avocado, with soy lobster gratin on top. 

I hadn’t  had lobster before, mainly because until some years ago, I started to eat sea food, my friend Brenda told me that I needed to try the lobster, that I was going to love it, so that was the second roll that we ordered.

What can I tell you, now I can understand why people love lobster. The flavor has no comparison, the meat has a little sweet flavor, that is delicious. 

You know the sushi rolls come with 10 pieces, but, this is the first place were they put so much meat, that we couldn't finish the rolls and we took home 6 pieces.

With out a doubt, I can assure you, that Naru is one of my new favorite restaurants, I cannot wait to visit them again to try what else they have to surprise us.
