En mi vista a Portland, los días fríos me hacían desear más frecuentemente sopas. Así que ya sabrán que el ramen se me antojo más de una vez. 

Entre la búsqueda de lugares para comer ramen, deben saber que Portland tiene muchos lugares para explorar, así que elegir el indicado fue un poco complicado entre todas las opciones con buenos reviews.

La opción que elegí fue Boxer Ramen un pequeño restaurante ubicado en 1025 SW Stark St., Portland OR.

• Parqueo: El restaurante no cuenta con parqueo
• Servicio al Cliente: A pesar que el restaurante estaba lleno nos atendieron muy rapido
• Precio: $$

Iba acompañada de mi papá y como sólo éramos dos personas entonces decidimos sentarnos en la barra.

Como ya sabia lo enorme que pueden ser los platos, le pedí a mi papá que compartieramos un plato de ramen Tokotsu, que es el ramen tradicional elaborado con un caldo de cerdo, además de tener carde de cerdo y cebollín.

En caso que el ramen no fuera suficiente para los dos, también pedimos potstickers de cerdo y vegetales fritos que son una especie de wonton. 

El ramen llego muy rápido a la mesa, lo cual fue ideal por que ya era tarde y mi papá entra en desesperación cuando no tiene comida.

El caldo venia lleno de sabor, y no necesitaba más que los fideos planos, huevo, cebollín y la carne de cerdo para ser perfecto. No se necesita de demasiados ingredientes para hacer un plato espectacular, esta más bien en la perfecta combinación entre ellos.

Los potstickers estaba riquísimos como cualquier cosa que sea frita, que es inevitable.

La mejor elección fue haber compartido la comida, por que los dos quedamos llenos y nos acabamos todo y no hubo necesidad de llevar sobras a la casa.

On my visit to Portland, the cold days made me crave soup more often. So ramen was a regular craving.

I was browsing for some places for good ramen, and you must know that Portland has many places to explore, so choosing the right one among all the options was a little difficult, because many of them had good reviews.

The chosen one was Boxer Ramen, a little spot located on 1025 SW Stark St., Portland OR.

• Costumer Service: Even tho the restaurant was crowded they serve us really quick
• Price: $$

That day it was only my dad and I so we chose to sit at the bar. 

Since I knew how big the soup bowls can be, I told my dad that it would be a good idea to share. The ramen that we chose was Tokotsu, that is the traditional pork broth garnished with pork belly, scallion and egg.

As if the ramen wasn't enough for the both of us, we ordered pork potstickers, they were fried. They are like  wontons.

The ramen came really quick, that was great because my dad gets frustrated when he doesn't have food in his stomach on time.

The broth had a great flavor and it didn't need too much garnish  to get an excellent flavor, just plain noodles, egg, scallion and pork belly. You don't need too many ingredients, just the perfect combination between them.

The potstickers were incredible like anything that is fried. 

The best decision was to share the food, because both of us were full and there weren't any left overs.
